Honestly, Smashbox! I know MAC is supposed to be the best of the best, but I honestly like my smashbox master class palette better than any other makeup I’ve tried. It just blends amazingly!

Well.. I wasn’t always very interested in makeup. I think my sister bought me an avon makeup palette in middle school which I barely ever used. I think around that time I mainly wore eyeliner and mascara only.

Then I started watching youtube videos. One particular video turned me on to Kat Von D, which initiated my long term relationship with Sephora. Since then, it’s been undying love and of course I’ve discovered many other brands etc. etc. It’s a wonder I didn’t like makeup sooner because now I just can’t be pulled away from it.

—>But to answer the question, I believe I was about 16-17 when I started to REALLY wear it. Kind of surprising, I know.

here is my very first palette! Beethoven by Kat Von D. Although, I have greater loves now that golden brown look was my go-to for a good year at least. I should break it out one of these days…

1.) I start by underlining my brows with MAC Fluidline in Dipdown, which is a gel liner, but you can use a brow pencil for this step too!
2.) Next, I shade lower half with a medium brown brow powder then fill in the rest with a lighter brown shading towards the front
3.) Then I use a flat brush and concealer to carve out the shape of the brow
4.) Make sure you blend it in with your foundation! You can also set it with a translucent powder if your feeling frisky

which is tempting, but in comparison to smashbox urban decay honestly feels like a drugstore brand to me..i’m just tempted to ignore that notion because it’s $6 (mind you, i bought like 8 eyeshadows last time this sale happened)

does anyone else feel dissatisfied with urban decay? i used to love it until i discovered other brands..
